AGKEENG CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES (SCFS) is looking for a FULL-TIME BEHAVIOUR ANALYST. You practice empathy, understanding and patience. You promote a safe therapeutic environment. Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or in progress. Related field and experience will be considered.
- Three (3) years’ recent, related experience working with children, youth and families or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current certification as a BCBA or BCaBA with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (or working towards).
- Valid MB Driver’s License. Travel will require the use of a personal vehicle.
Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of Manitoba’s health and social welfare system.
- Demonstrated ability to design data collection systems and analyze data to inform treatment plans
- Demonstrated ability to perform functional behaviour assessments and design behaviour plans.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a variety of settings (home, school, daycare).
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate group interventions and/or educational workshops.
- Skills in communication that enable coaching and training.
- Adaptable to changing schedules, priorities, and environments.
- Knowledgeable of other facilities and community resources.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to establish workload priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to take clinical input and direction.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with conflict and crisis situations.
- Demonstrated ability to provide consultation, leadership, and work direction.
Pay: $75,614.00-$97,535.00 per year
