Behaviour Specialist

SAGKEENG CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES (SCFS) is looking for a FULL-TIME BEHAVIOUR SPECIALIST. You practice empathy, understanding and patience. You promote a safe therapeutic environment. You will be joining a creative, initiative, and dynamic multi-disciplinary team. You are knowledgeable of SCFS, Sagkeeng First Nation and Indigenous culture. This position reports to SCFS Biidaaziiway Gamik Unit Clinical Supervisor - Specialized Services. SCFS offers competitive salary and benefits

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in psychology or education. Related field and experience will be considered.
- Three (3) years’ recent, related experience working with children, youth and families or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Registered Behaviour Technician with Behaviour Analyst Certification Board or willing to complete requirements to obtain.
- Valid MB Driver’s License. Travel will require the use of a personal vehicle.

Skills and Abilities:

- Understanding of Manitoba’s health and social welfare system.

- Skills in communication that enable coaching and training.

- Demonstrated ability to take clinical input and direction.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with conflict and crisis situations.
- Demonstrated ability to provide consultation, leadership, and work direction.

Pay: $75,614.00-$97,535.00 per year
