SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and oversee purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and customer service activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead a team of 3 people, managing daily activities, providing training, supporting development, and evaluating performance to ensure a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for purchasing and inventory management, while also managing the SCM department's budget to align with company goals.
- Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers, external storage providers, and freight companies, monitoring their performance to maintain cost-effective practices.
- Collaborate in the development of new products and identify potential substitute materials to meet company needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve cost savings.
- Review and process claims against suppliers, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with quality and food safety goals, actively aligning the supply chain operations between North America and Europe to meet CAPOL Group's needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field
- 4+ years of experience working in supply chain
- 2+ years as a manager or leading a team
- Proficient in SAP (or other ERP system) and MRP
- Bilingual in French and English
