Responsibilities Summary:

- **Documentation Creation**: Responsible for creating technical project and user documentation, including operational procedures and systems documentation.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with various cross-functional teams (developers, business teams, testers) to gather and communicate necessary technical information.
- **Support**: Provide guidance and create documentation such as quick-start guides, configuration/administration guides, and glossaries for users.
- **Quality Control**: Validate that technical documentation aligns with product functionality, and provide post-implementation support.
- **Compliance**: Ensure the documentation complies with industry standards, including accessibility standards like AODA.

Qualifications Summary:

- **Technical Writing Expertise**: Extensive experience in technical writing, including the use of standard methods, tools, and techniques, and knowledge of industry best practices.
- **Software and Platform Knowledge**: Experience with at least one platform and communications protocols; proficient in office automation suites, authoring packages, and relevant technical tools.
- **Documentation Tools**: Skilled in tools for documentation creation, distribution, and maintenance, as well as proficiency with technical writing tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Technical Communication Suite).
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; experience in collaborating with diverse teams and creating various forms of technical documentation.
- **Accessibility Knowledge**: Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations.
- **Desirable Skills**: Experience with publishing content on websites, using feedback forms, creating graphics, and validating documentation content.

**Must Haves**:

- Experience with engaging business and IT stakeholders, understand requirements for new functionality or changes to existing ones and providing high level and detailed estimates
- Ability to write high quality business cases, working with corporate governance bodies and navigating approvals
- Experience with submitting and managing project collateral (conceptual and logical) in repository tools such as PowerDesigner
- Experience with reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI

**Nive to have**:

- Experience with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $65.00-$75.00 per hour

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:
