**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment
- Track/report all deficiencies, maintenance/repair needs, vandalism and supply inventory to the Property Manager
- Respond to all emergencies promptly, interacts with contractors, building residents and board of directors
- Perform general landscaping (grass cutting, trimming, planting, leaf clearing/cleaning)
- Perform the general daily cleaning of the building
- Ability to paint and do touch-ups
- Ability to follow and improve procedures & processes, follow-up and complete requests/work orders
- Ability to perform basic repairs and general maintenance in the common areas
- Provides recommendations to resolve/solve issues efficiently and cost effectively
- Daily meetings with property manager
- The full time, live-in superintendent is on-call 24 hours, 7 days a week in case of emergencies. Cell phone is carried by the superintendent when on duty 24 hours per day.
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

Similar experience

Speak and read English, good interactive/communication skills

Ability to speak / understand Ukrainian or Polish is a definite asset

Valid Ontario Drivers Licence is a definite asset

Good work ethic

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

**Language**:

- Ukrainian (preferred)
- Polish (preferred)
- English (required)

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-05-01
