We are currently recruiting an Analyst with strong programming skills to bring our Middle Office team to the next level. The Risk Analyst will work closely with our Energy traders, participating to daily trading decisions. The Analyst will be our Front Office’s expert regarding Risk & P&L operations, participating in the automation of our operational trading process.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Be the main pillar in our daily operations
- Mastering/Improving our internal Risk Infrastructure
- Develop new risk tools/metrics to help optimize risk & capital allocation
- Investigate, analyze, and monitor daily P&L
- Actively participate in the development and oversight of automated operational processes (SQL)
- Act as a point of contact with our counterparties
- Develop an understanding of Financial and Physical Energy Markets and build relationship with traders and portfolio managers
- Provide expert support in quantitative analysis related to new trading opportunities (e.g., backtesting, stress testing, sensitivity analysis)

**Profiles we are looking for**:

- You have a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering or equivalent
- You have 2 years + of experience in Middle, Back Office or Risk Management role
- You hold a professional title (CFA, FRM, CPA) (asset)
- You have excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
- You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight timelines
- You have strong technology and coding skills, SQL (required), Python (asset)
- You have sound knowledge of financial risk management concepts and techniques, such as Value-at-Risk
- You have knowledge of Energy Markets (asset)
- You are result oriented

L'analyste des risques travaillera en étroite collaboration avec nos traders en énergie et participera aux décisions de trading quotidiennes. L'analyste sera l'expert du Front Office en ce qui concerne les opérations Risk & P&L, et participera à l'automatisation de nos processus opérationnels de trading.

**Responsabilités clés**:

- Être le pilier principal de nos opérations quotidiennes
- Maitriser/améliorer notre infrastructure de risque interne
- Développer de nouveaux outils de risque/métriques afin d'optimiser le risque et l'allocation de capital
- Enquêter, analyser et contrôler les P&L
- Participer activement au développement et à la supervision des processus opérationnels automatisés (SQL)
- Agir en tant que point de contact avec nos partenaires
- Développer une compréhension des marchés financiers et physiques de l'énergie et établir des relations avec les traders et les gestionnaires de portefeuilles
- Fournir un support expert dans l'analyse quantitative liée aux nouvelles opportunités de trading (par exemple, backtesting, stress testing, analyse de sensibilité)

**Profil recherché**:

- Tu as une maîtrise en comptabilité, finance, sciences actuarielles, ingénierie ou équivalent
- Tu as plus de 2 ans d'expérience en Middle, Back Office ou gestion de risques
- Tu détiens un titre professionnel (CFA, FRM, CPA) (atout)
- Tu as d'excellentes compétences quantitatives et d'analyse de données
- Tu es capable de gérer des tâches multiples et de respecter des délais serrés
- Tu as de solides compétences en technologie et en codage : SQL (obligatoire), Python (atout)
- Tu es orienté vers les résultats
