**Job Title**

2023 Summer Student - Personal & Commercial Banking - Product Intern (4 months)

**What is the opportunity?**

The opportunity is to be a part of a product team with the Banking & Payments team within Personal and Commercial Banking to support our product strategy & management team. You will work as part of the experienced team of payments product management experts to support development of new capabilities, analyze trends and identify insights, ideate on new tactics to gain market share, drive acquisition, engagement and growth. You will use your skills to analyze and research the competitive positioning of our products, conduct profitability and segmentation analysis, and develop insights to support the product management team.

**What will you do?**
- Support the payments team with product management
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify, test and implement opportunities go enhance products or processes to enhance competitiveness, mitigate risk and strengthen resiliency
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners
- Use various data sources to research, identify opportunities, calculate benefits, and make recommendations
- Leverage PowerPoint and other tools to effectively communicate recommendations to various stakeholders
- Utilize Excel to manage data, support reporting and/or identify new opportunities

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution with an interest in Financial Services and Product Management
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Demonstrate strong competencies in collaboration, attention to detail, and time management
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
- Strong MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

**Nice-to-have**
- Experience utilizing data to tell a story and/or solve problems
