You won't be bogged down with administering tests—yep, that’s right We have a dedicated psychological assistant, also known as a psychometrist, to handle all the test administration. This means you can really focus on what you love: interpreting the data and helping people understand themselves better.

The Assessment Psychologist Lead will be responsible for interpreting psychological assessments administered by a psychometrist, for a variety of purposes including but not limited to diagnostic clarification, educational planning, and vocational guidance. Your role will be to write comprehensive reports and interpret psychological assessments for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to, diagnostic clarification, educational planning, and vocational guidance. Developing the assessment branch and forging partnership is also part of this role.

This is a 70/30 contractor split position.
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual client needs
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Stay current on the latest research and developments in the field of psychology

**Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and clinical assessments. Knowledge and experience in diagnosing autism spectrum disorders is welcomed.
- Collaborate effectively with our pediatric occupational therapist to integrate assessment results into therapeutic interventions.
- Provide supervision and oversight to student assessors, ensuring high standards of practice and professional development.
- Work closely with our psychometrist to analyze assessment data and contribute to the development of personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in psychoeducational assessments and autism interventions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment protocols and procedures.
- Work with the multi-discplinary team: nurse practitioner, therapists, pediatric occupational therapist and SLP to offer comprehensive assessments for families.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in conducting various comprehensive assessments, particularly in settings focused on children and adolescents.
- Professional certification or license in clinical psychology.
- Demonstrated expertise in the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders is highly preferred but not necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven experience in supervisory roles and in mentoring less experienced clinicians and students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $100.00-$130.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
