**Psychologist Responsibilities**:

- We are looking for a psychologist who is passionate about supporting adults, children, youth and their families through a friendly and energetic approach.
- A team member who has excellent communication skills, who has the ability to build strong rapport with individuals and their support team members.
- Eager to work collaboratively with the NIC team and able to provide clear communication with other members of the family’s team.
- The ability to create functional and evidence-based intervention plans.
- Sensitive to linguistic, cultural, social, economic, individual, and positional differences among staff, providers, and individuals served.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences or acceptable equivalent.
- Current and active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists is required.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, goal formulation and treatment. Ability to engage patients in making goals and effectively communicate strategies.
- Ability to practice 1-1 or group sessions with child/youth or adults and provide quality evidence-based practices based on the client’s needs.
- Criminal record check and professional liability insurance upon request.

**Additional Qualifications**:

- Training and experience in individuals with cancer and children considered an asset.
- Experience with naturopathic medicine considered an asset.
- Experience with electronic medical records (particularly Janeapp) considered an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time to full-time.

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Beaumont, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Compensation**:from $120 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
