**Role Summary**

SunGrid is seeking a Project Portfolio Performance Analyst to monitor, evaluate and report on the status of various asset portfolios. This role will report to the Manager, Technical Services, the Performance Analyst will work closely with the SunGrid’s Technical Services and Operations to optimise system performance, system uptime and customer satisfaction.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Daily monitoring of BESS and solar PV assets (portfolio dependent)
- Analysis of performance and confirms that asset is in the desired state across all points of monitoring
- Asses, verify and confirm all alarms as they arise and create technician dispatch orders as required using SunGrid’s enterprise service software platform
- Evaluate and report on asset performance against expectations and resources
- Manage and become expert on folders and documents for portfolios
- Support business development and technical services groups in analysis of portfolios and technical requirements based on scope of services
- Provide excellent stake holder and customer services through timely, professional and accurate communications; written and in meetings
- Working closely with dispatch to assign skilled technicians to work orders
- Working with enterprise software to create work orders
- Develop and implement performance metrics for various stakeholders
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and standards
- Develop proper controls to identify, research and resolve any performance data issues
- Practice data science techniques to derive insights

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of the workings on grid tied power generation assets
- Hands on experience in maintaining, commissioning or servicing power generation assets
- Expert user of data management software, such as MS Suite, Smartsheet
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent related discipline
- Experience with energy systems considered an asset
- Experience developing KPIs and process improvements
- Experience with or strong working knowledge of SCADA, PLC and protection and control systems

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
