U-STORE-IT is currently recruiting for a **Night Supervisor** to join our Edmonton team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for conducting mobile and static patrols at our four Edmonton area facilities during the night. This includes walking patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the facilities, mobile patrols throughout property yards, and driving between the four locations each evening. When a shift is static, employee will remain at one property throughout the night.
The schedule for this position would be 2100 - 0600 (9:00pm - 6:00am), with a one hour unpaid break. Days off would be staggered each week, with shifts being four days on and two days off. Will be required to work weekends and holidays.
**Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, the following**:
- Walking patrols of interiors and exteriors of facilities
- Driving (mobile) patrols of facility yards and drive up units
- Identifying and clearing persons from facilities after time of close
- Checking fence lines and property borders
- Checking that facility doors and units are secured throughout night
- Driving between four facilities each evening to patrol on a regular basis
- Static duties when required
- Complete nightly shift reports for each location
**Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a relevant role is preferred
- Intermediate or higher knowledge of MS Office and Outlook and use of software programs on computer (to complete nightly reports)
- Ability to work alone
- Must speak, read and write English fluently
The salary for this position is based on 40 hours per week. Position qualifies for extended health coverage, vision & dental coverage, after 90 days probationary period.
