**Résumé des fonctions**

L’analyste Analyses avancées met à profit des analyses statistiques, l’intelligence artificielle (IA) et l’apprentissage automatique ainsi que des techniques d’optimisation pour soutenir le développement du modèle d’exploitation de terminal de l’avenir. La personne titulaire du poste produit et utilise les données obtenues pour optimiser l’exploitation et soutenir la mise en œuvre du programme de terminal intelligent ainsi que des projets d’amélioration continue. Cette personne contribue à l’Intermodal du CN en explorant des données sensibles et en utilisant l’Internet des objets (IdO) avancé, des capteurs et des contrôles électroniques de pointe, des infrastructures de mégadonnées, des analyses avancées, l’apprentissage profond et d’autres technologies de premier plan pour améliorer virtuellement chaque dimension de l’entreprise.

**Principales responsabilités**

**Amélioration continue, optimisation des processus, engagement des intervenants et harmonisation**
- Promouvoir l’amélioration continue en déterminant les occasions et en dirigeant les projets
- Utiliser les techniques reposant sur la science des données pour trouver des modèles, des anomalies et des occasions d’optimisation des données
- Analyser des ensembles de données et des paramètres opérationnels complexes pour aider la direction à prendre des décisions tout en mettant en œuvre de nouvelles solutions et de nouveaux processus
- Utiliser les données pour effectuer des analyses et collaborer avec les directeurs principaux Terminal, les directeurs et les superviseurs de terminal ainsi qu’avec la Planification du réseau afin de recommander des améliorations d’optimisation à l’Exploitation, de contribuer à la définition des modèles d’exploitation de l’avenir et à l’optimisation des plans de chargement des trains, et de participer à la gestion de tout changement qui en découlerait.

**Analyses avancées**
- Gérer et analyser une grande quantité de données provenant de diverses plateformes du CN afin d’améliorer la qualité, de réduire les pertes et d’optimiser les processus de planification
- Appliquer des connaissances statistiques et des connaissances d’apprentissage automatique à des problèmes d’affaires et à des données spécifiques
- Collaborer avec les intervenants clés de l’entreprise, les fournisseurs et les consultants pour concevoir et mettre en œuvre des outils d’analyse avancée, consolider les données et effectuer des essais
- Agir à titre d’expert ou d’experte des systèmes d’exploitation et des technologies propres aux terminaux de pointe ainsi que des analyses avancées, et évaluer la performance du CN à cet égard, à l’interne comme à l’externe
- Contribuer à la production des fiches de résultats et des tableaux de bord de l’Exploitation et des clients afin d’obtenir des données qualitatives et historiques sur la performance de la Compagnie

**Conditions de travail**

Ce poste prévoit des conditions de travail standard dans un bureau et un horaire de travail normal. La personne titulaire de ce poste doit être disponible pour travailler pendant les fins de semaine au besoin. En raison de la nature du poste, le ou la titulaire doit être en mesure de respecter des échéanciers serrés, de bien tolérer la pression et de gérer le stress. Ce poste exige peu de déplacements (5 %).

**Expérience**

Recherche et collecte de données.
- De 2 à 5 ans d’expérience de la recherche et de la modélisation de données avancées
- De 2 à 5 ans d’expérience dans un environnement d’exploitation et de logistique à grande échelle
- Expérience des logiciels d’optimisation et des langages de programmation mathématique comme CPLEX, Lingo ou autre
- Expérience du nettoyage, de la gestion et de la visualisation des données, structurées et non structurées
- Expérience de la gestion d’entrepôt, du transport et des systèmes de planification*
- Expérience des projets technologiques et d’automatisation de l’exploitation*
- Expérience de la recherche appliquée dans des secteurs pertinents à l’IA*
