ABB established regional IS organization drive standardization and harmonization of solutions, to ensure delivery of high quality IS services for ABB business units within the region, by bringing significant focus on business value driven innovation and delivery as core competencies in addition to ensure that Compliance and Security are adhered to. As an IS Analyst in the ABB IS organization, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-paced, international environment, solve complex problems, participate in building our IS solution capability and grow together with the rapidly developing business. The IS Analyst would be responsible to perform various ABB business analyses to support decisions regarding IS Compliance and Security; under supervision creates/assists the appropriate Business Blueprint; functionally define solutions fulfilling compliance and security requirements leveraging best practices.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with IS Service Managers, IS Compliance Teams, IS Application Owners, IS Security teams and IS Risk Assessment team to analyze and coordinate efforts for Compliance and Security with minimum impact to the Business.
- Provide security as a service to the Business. While coordinating with external parties to drive Security vulnerability improvements, leaning on internal teams for gaps in SCCM delivery. Engaging with Business for necessary approvals.
- Understands the related business processes in detail and applies this knowledge to shape and align IS controls and security delivery activities.
- Assists in the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS Services.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the relevant area of responsibility, contributing expertise on compliance and security technical expertise to support ongoing operations.
- Pre-qualifies and prioritizes security and compliance requests, escalate where necessary to the IS Service Manager.
- For assigned tasks, executes all actions in IS processes according to the agreed RACIS definition.
- Supports the Run Organization in the incident and problem resolution as and when tasks are assigned.
- Keeps up-to-date and informed of ABB IS Enterprise Architecture and ABB IS Strategy planned or ad-hoc changes. Stays abreast of any incident, change or project which has or might have a major impact on the relevant part of the service.
- Ensures work in the delivery domain is compliant with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture, the ABB IS Application Roadmap and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines, especially ABB IS Guidelines and Directive, that deal with IS service delivery.
- Provides guidance or support to delivery teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice without carrying line responsibility.

- Synthesizes observations and interviews into Personas, Mental Models, Journey Maps and Design Principles to ensure solutions are focused on Compliance audit requirements.
- Ensures designed solutions are in line with complete Compliance requirements for the Americas region.
- Provides guidance to TCS & or Local teams in implementing the designed compliance requirements.
- Works with Global ARIC Teams to ensure adherence to Group standards.
- Work with SDM & Application Managers to understand business impact on security requirements.
- Ensures security solutions are in line with the common Global directive for the Americas region.
- Provides guidance to TCS & or Local teams in implementing the designed security requirements.
- Works with Global SCM Domains to ensure adherence to Group standards.

**Your background**:

- More than 2 years of IS experience within the relevant IS domain.
- Superior experience in translating security & compliance requirements into IS capabilities and solutions.
- Superior experience in objectively evaluating IS solutions and making recommendations.
