Junior Purchaser

**Summary**:
We are looking for a Jr. Purchasing Assistant / Data Entry Clerk to join our team to provide clerical and accounting support at our head office in Delta, BC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Completing purchase orders, maintaining inventory and purchase records
- Data Entry in ERP system (Sage)
- Clerical, filing, scanning, matching back-up and related tasks as assigned
- Sourcing suppliers and new vendors
- Keep up business relationships with existing vendors
- Communicate with various job sites
- Supporting Manager in dealing all aspects of the procurement function
- Coverage for sick time and holidays -Accounting and Purchasing departments

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven data entry work experience and strong administrative skills
- Detail-oriented, with proficiency in using data entry software
- Sage experience is an asset but not required.
- Accounting and purchasing knowledge considered an asset
- Excellent time management skills, sense of organization and ability to set priorities
- Must be Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
