This position will manage and grow a territory in Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
This position is full time and 95% of the time will be working from a vehicle.
**Position requirements**

- Customer service attitude.
- Not afraid of paperwork.
- Having the ability to think and work on your feet.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma with some post-secondary education in business, marketing or a trade.
- Customer service experience from retail sales, restaurant work or sales.
- Ability to fluently speak, read and write in English.
- Must be in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

- 1. A long time customer has come to you to help them find an item that they have been looking everywhere for. What they are looking for is something that is no longer made. This customer has an opportunity to land a million dollar job where all the materials will be purchased through you. How would you help this customer find the item that they need in order to land this job?
- 2. You have made an appointment to see a new customer today at 9:00 am. You arrive at 8:58 am and go into the business and talk to reception. When you state to the reception assistant that you have an appointment at 9:00 am to see the new customer. The assistant promptly tells you that the new customer had double booked the time with one of your competitors. Since they arrived before you the new customer took them in and wants you to reschedule. In what method would you communicate with this customer about this situation and in 3 sentences or less what would you say to the customer?
- 3. You are planning a one week overnight trip to Victoria BC you have never been to Victoria for business before. You do not have a list of customers and are not familiar with the area at all. Please explain in detail what methods you would use in order to plan this trip, how you would find customers to visit, how you would ensure your time is not wasted and how you would manage a full docket of customers between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00pm for all five days of the trip.
- 4. A customer in your territory has been delinquent in payments for 160 days. The credit department has put the account on hold and is going to send them to collections creating a bad debt write off that will affect your sales number for the quarter. How would you approach your customer in order to attempt to get this bill paid and avoid the write-off?
