**Geological Summer Internship
**Copper Mountain Mining Corporation is a TSX/ASX listed copper producer, developer, and
explorer. Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Copper Mountain trades on the Toronto Stock
Exchange under the symbol “CMMC” and the Australian Stock Exchange under the symbol
“C6C”. Copper Mountain’s flagship asset is the 75% owned Copper Mountain mine located in
southern British Columbia near the town of Princeton. The Copper Mountain mine currently
produces approximately 100 million pounds of copper equivalent per year. With a future mill
expansion and the integration of New Ingerbelle, the Copper Mountain Mine is expected to
produce approximately 140 million pounds of copper equivalent per year over the first 20 years
of its 32-year mine life based on reserves.

The Copper Mountain deposit is a Late Triassic/Early Jurassic, alkalic porphyry copper-gold
deposit located near the southern end of the Quesnel Terrane. The bulk of the known copper
- gold mineralization occurs in a northwesterly trending belt of Nicola Group rocks, approximately
5 km long and 2 km wide and is genetically related to the intrusion of the Lost Horse Intrusive
Complex. The deposit has proven and probable reserves of 650 Mt at 0.25% Cu and 0.11 g/t Au
and has significant exploration upside potential with copper-gold mineralization open both laterally
and at depth.

**Location**
At the Copper Mountain Mine, which is located near the town of Princeton, British Columbia at
the center of the scenic Similkameen Valley. Princeton is a community-oriented town with a
diverse offering of activities, especially for those who love the outdoors. Princeton is also in close
proximity to both the city of Vancouver and the Okanagan.

**Summary**
The Exploration and Geoscience team at Copper Mountain creates value through brownfield
exploration discovery and resource expansion. To support the continued growth of our business,
we are seeking a Geological Intern to join our team for a 4-month period.
- knowledge to support both the Exploration and Mine Geology teams. They will gain valuable
- hands-on experience of brownfield exploration (including drilling) on an active mine site, will learn
- about porphyry deposit geology and will develop an understanding of the ore-forming processes
- that created the Copper Mountain deposit.
- This role is based in the town of Princeton, BC, with a rotational work schedule designed to meet
- operational requirements.**Responsibilities**
- Practice safe work behaviors and support the Copper Mountain Mine safety culture through

participation in daily and monthly safety meetings and initiatives
- Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements in all areas while on mine

property
- Follow all Company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support drill rig management, including drill site visits and inspections
- Accurately collect detailed geological and geotechnical data on drill core, in the core shack or

at the drill rig, to support geotechnical and geological modeling and mine planning
- Collect physical property measurements of drill core
- Assist geologists with the collection, organization and shipment of a variety of sample types
- Safely move core boxes while utilizing proper PPE; loading and unloading core benches, and

stacking core on pallets
- Photograph drill core, conduct QA/QC, and manage/edit resulting files
- Utilize digital logging software; troubleshoot data entry errors
- Work collaboratively, sharing information and knowledge with the project team

**Education and Experience**
- Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate of, a Geology, Geoscience or Geological Engineering

program, or closely related technical discipline.
- Previous experience working as a geologist, geological or geotechnical technician or working

with drill rigs would be an asset
- Experience with digital data entry; comfortable with use of computers, tablets, digital cameras,

and digital data file types and file management
- Strong computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with GIS and mining software packages such as QGIS, Leapfrog or MX Deposit

would be an asset.
- Experience working in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Ability to liaise with contractors and all persons on site in a respectful and professional manner
- A results-focused attitude and strong time management skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license is an asset
