As an _Accessibility Sales Technician_, the employee shall support and maintain NSM’s medical equipment to perform at its best capacity, assist in training other technicians, supervise and direct technical service initiatives.

**Position Reports To**:Branch Manager

**Role and Responsibilities/Essential Functions**
- Develop new referral sources and clients through professional presentations to potential referral sources and medical personnel.
- Experience selling, servicing, or educating in the Home Accessibility Equipment Industry (a definite asset), or,
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective, qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all categories.
- Leverage in-depth product knowledge to conduct successful demos and handle objections effectively.
- Finalize proper evaluations to ensure appropriate recommendations for equipment that will best serve the client’s specific needs.
- Assist in timely completion of work orders, which may involve, but is not limited to, research of components, calculation of equipment prices, responding to requests for additional information, and preparing quotes for clients, referral sources, and insurance companies. Follow up on work orders to ensure timely receipt and delivery.
- Test, diagnose, and serve client owned, rental, and loaner equipment.
- Take accountability for cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of all the NSM equipment, branch repair area / workshop. Remove any workplace hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead and assist in the training and on-boarding of NSM Associate and Certified Technicians.
- Supervise and direct technical service initiatives at the branch level and report progress to leadership teams.
- Diagnose faulty equipment and communicate resolution to communicate resolution utilizing technical services policies and procedures.
- Attain an advanced understanding of the NSM product portfolio to include the training of assembly, installation, modifications, repairs, and diagnostics.
- Deliver, transfer, and install all NSM equipment while assuring that documentation is complete and accurate.
- Instruct customers and caregivers in the proper use, care, and safety of equipment purchased, rented, or repaired.
- Maintain delivery vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition, completing vehicle checklist as required to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and operating in accordance with local laws.
- Complete Senior Technician standard for training curriculums.
- Access current information and technological advancements from manufacturers on installations, repairs, and part replacements for all NSM products.
- Present client with education on equipment usage, safety, and financial considerations.
- Obtain proper documentation and signatures from clients.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
- Support the estimated delivery dates for orders.

**Competencies/Skills**
- 2+ years of experience in CRT (Complex Rehab Technology), accessibility and mobility equipment, or related fields
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
- Ability to attain sales targets and have cold calling, customer acquisition, and retention experience
- Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth while nurturing customer relationships.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and disciplined sales professional.
- Keen desire to reach new career heights (growth mindset)
- Work independently with mínimal supervision
- Self-supervising within the guidance and expectations of divisional management
- Experience in using hand and power tools, and working with raw materials
- Valid driver's license and copy of driving record
- Must maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Strong business acumen with advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
