- Description
- The Manager of customer solution integration will serve as head of the customer solution integration function.- He/She will be responsible for managing the overall team, defining best practices, creating and implementing new processes and working with the Director Services to outline the overall growth and strategy of the PM function at Purpose.- The Manager establishes methodologies to set productivity and quality targets and to assess results for all projects. Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions to get project acceptance as per time schedule.- Additionally, the Manager monitors and analyzes project and integration metrics to identify weakness or problems and to propose operational improvements and cost saving to meet Company financial goals.- Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Operation Director to create processes and systems to ensure effective solution integration and implementation across the organization.
- Direct the activities of the customer solution integration unit and determine how team resources should be allocated across projects.
- Provide strong and effective support to Sales, Project, and Program management teams
- Contribute to training and capacity building process to promote solution integration best practices.
- Communicate with Senior Management on successes, issues and lessons learned from implementation and share these across the organization
- Contribute to the community of solution integration across the different regions on solution integration challenges and priorities
- Serve as primary customer solution integration support assisting solution integration engineers to deliver successful projects within budget, time and ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Build a
- Establish metrics and KPI and to track project performance and deliverables while working with Project Managers to ensure the completion and submission of all required reports to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure solution integration engineers understand and follow integration planning, documentation and execution policies, procedures, etc and have the resources, tools and support required to deliver their work.
- Promote and drive a culture of accountability for the solution integration team through effective people management including hiring, retention, coaching and development.
- Oversee large-scale projects alongside project manager(s) and integration team, ensuring client satisfaction, timely scope fulfillment, and budgetary success.
- Ensure team is developing itself around the EXFO selected technologies and architectures
- Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering, Economics or equivalent.
- 10 + years experience delivery, integration, deployment role
- A successful track record in establishing strong and effective working relationships with customers and experience of conflict resolution
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Fluency in English, French and Spanish consider an asset
- Technical Skills
- Virtualization: VMWare, KVM, OpenStack
- OS configuration: Linux (Redhat, CentOS) and Windows (Server 2012 and 2016).
- Cloud Native Orchestration (ex :Kubernetes & Docker)
- Cloud Native Application monitoring (ex : Prometheus & Grafana)
- Search Engine/Database (Elasticsearch, Mongo)
- DevOps environment (CI/CD)
- Understanding of Mobile networks (4G/5G) considered an asset
