**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Prepare and cook food in either a low, or high volume setting while providing the guests with the highest standard of food and beverage service.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Report to assigned work area on time and in compliance with company dress code.
- Comply with company and departmental standards on grooming.
- Assist in the set-up and clean-up of assigned work area and elsewhere as requested by Kitchen Lead.
- Commit to memory all cooking times, temperatures, and sanitation codes. Cook Hot, Store Cold.
- Event set-up as directed by Food & Beverage Supervisor.
- Hot box / Cres-Cor and Cambro labeling as to contents.
- Keep work area organized and sanitary.
- Check temperatures of product before and during service.
- Assist runners at time of event service and during busy periods.
- Inform Food & Beverage Supervisor if supplies or product are running low.
- Ask Food & Beverage Supervisor for assistance if problems arise.
- Complete daily Shift Checklist.
- Assist in dish room; Wash dishes in 3 bay sinks, organize and re-stock glassware in the operation.
- Review all operating policies and procedures on a continuous basis to ensure safety and sanitation, efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Promotes a positive work environment.
- Practice safety methods and techniques to ensure work areas are safe. Eliminate unsafe physical conditions, equipment, and machine hazards; and other risks in human and operational performance which may cause injury to persons, damage to property, or cause other losses.
- Follows Ministry of Health food handling practices.
- Follows Local, Provincial and Company rules and regulations for serving Alcoholic Beverages.

All other duties as assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole and the Operations department. Management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g. Emergencies, change in workload, rush jobs, staff levels, or technical development) arise.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
- Must at least be in pursuit of High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Team player.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Obtains Smart Serve Certificate.
- Obtains Food Handlers Certificate.

**ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS**:

- This position requires continuous temperature changes, working alone, and working with others.
- This position requires frequent work in extreme heat, extreme cold, dryness, or humidity.
- This position requires occasional work in or around wetness, cramped quarters, heights, noise, detergents/chemicals, mechanical hazards, moving objects, fumes/odors, dust, mists, gases, or vibrations.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:

- Must be able to stand/or walk for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Must be able to work outdoors in the park at various times throughout the year.
- Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech.
- Requires occasional kneeling and bending.
- Requires occasional walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling.
- Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 60 pounds.
- Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand cart.

**OTHER FUNCTIONS**:
Any and all other duties that is assigned or necessary in order to support the Revenue Department and the park as a whole.
