**SUMMARY**:
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the installation of electrical schematics and circuits for mobile vacuum equipment.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience
- Electrical Technologist Diploma, Journeyperson Electrician, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working on mobile equipment
- Experience using MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to read electrical schematics, solid understanding of 12 Volt (automotive) electrical systems.
- Understanding of electrical control circuits using “relay logic”
- Understand low voltage electrical devices such as switches, limit switches, timers, relays, circuit breakers, diodes, thermostats, speed pick-up sensors, gauges, etc.
- Experience diagnosing electrical systems using common engineering tools such as multimeters, test lights, etc.
- Should possess a basic understanding of logic controllers/IO devices
- Knowledge of electronic diesel engines and transmissions an asset
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organization and the ability to complete tasks within tight timeframes
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Positive and collaborative attitude and able to plan and execute aspects of work independently
- Demonstrate good customer service skills

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain accurate bill of materials (BOM) for production units
- Identify cost savings and process improvement initiatives and relay information to Engineering
- Participate in the cost reduction process as needed
- Work with production and engineering teams during implementation of new systems
- Create and review ECR’s in collaboration with Engineering
- Interpret test plans for product validation
- Review technical documents and machine operation instructions
