Finance Technician

Electric Horsepower Inc., a fast-paced oilfield manufacturing company in Nisku, AB is looking for highly motivated Finance Technician. Currently EHP is manufacturing commercial electric heaters, environmental remediation units and refurbishing drilling rigs along with any ancillary equipment for local and international customers.

The successful applicant will have a dynamic and proactive skill set with continual focus on client satisfaction, cost control and safety when performing the duties of this position. The applicant must have an attention to detail to meet and exceed company deadlines and expectations, as well as the ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner. The position will commence with part-time hours and can accommodate some flexibility with the schedule.

The Finance Technician’s main responsibility will be Accounts Payable along with other related activities including:

- Performing other general accounting duties as required with month end and year end
- Project reporting information entry as required
- Reception - answering phones, visitor direction
- Processing daily mail, incoming and outgoing
- Miscellaneous data entry required for the Finance area and Office
- Office supply management
- Filing

**Qualifications**:

- 3 years prior accounts payable experience in an oilfield or manufacturing environment would be an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient computer knowledge, Sage 50 and Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle a fast paced environment with multiple demands
- Strong interpersonal skills and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
