The Opportunity

Project: Mace are currently engaged in a mega rail and infrastructure scheme, delivering world-class transportation solutions in Toronto.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Collaborating and influencing our client team to implement and maintain programs, systems, and procedures to achieve cross-contract area transformational HSW practice.
- advising the MCS head of health, safety, wellbeing, and environment on strategic occupational health, safety, and wellbeing matters.
- Undertaking focused integrated functional assurance reviews to ensure best practice is being implemented consistently across all contracts.
- To champion transformational occupational health and wellbeing initiatives and drive their implementation with the alliance partners.
- Supporting and driving a dynamic lesson learned and business improvement process for occupational health and wellbeing across the program.
- Producing required reports and inputting data for reporting.
- Assuring the delivery of occupational health and wellbeing initiatives internally within the MCS team and with our client.
- Developing best practice guides/training/presentations/briefing packages and delivering to appropriate target audiences based on their role/responsibilities within the program.
- Providing support to all Go Expansion teams and contractors to resolve any occupational health and wellbeing issues that may arise.
- Working knowledge of Canada's labor code and other relevant federal and provincial/states health and safety legislation.

About You

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, and extensive experience in Occupational Health and Occupational Hygiene, experience in infrastructure and railway programs, technical knowledge and competence in Occupational Safety, and experience in developing and embedding the Occupational Health & Wellbeing management industry's best practice and systems, and procedures pertaining to the industry, knowledge of the regional politic, economic, social and security context, you are fluent in English and have knowledge of another local language (s) of the region is a plus.
