Etobicoke, Canada Toronto Kidz Summer Camp Full time

Toronto Kidz Summer Camp is a multi-activity day camp for busy kids in Toronto. Our camp welcomes kids from 5-12 years old and each week comes with a different theme such as Dinosaurs, Animals, Underwater World, etc. We run out of 8 locations in Toronto.

We are currently looking for German-speaking camp counsellors for a 6-week commitment from **July 4th to August 11th** to gain great experience working with kids in a fun and active environment. There is an opportunity for Senior counsellors to work an extra two weeks until August 25th at a different location.

**Tasks include (but not limited to)**:

- supervision of a cohort of 12 campers
- plan games and activities for indoors and outdoors
- support kids with arts & crafts projects
- supervision during lunch break and snack times
- lead the group on field trips throughout the city of Toronto
- set-up and clean up at the beginning and end of each day

**Requirements**:

- minimum age: 16 years for Junior Counsellor / 18 years for Senior Counsellor
- fluent in German
- Available for all 6 weeks
- full time Mondays to Fridays
- able to commute reliably to 25 Burnhamthorpe Rd. (Etobicoke)
- first aid/CPR certificate (can be done once hired)
- police check (can be done once hired)
- participation in a 2-day mandatory and paid staff training on June 24th & 25th
- previous experience at a summer camp or working with kids is an asset
- specific skills (sports, drawing, crafts, etc.) an asset

We are adhering to all provided guidelines for day camps in Toronto provided by the Ministry of Education and Toronto Public Health. This includes mask wearing, daily health checks, etc.
