Tru Earth Environmental Products Inc. is looking for an **Assembly Team Lead** to work at our Burnaby Warehouse Facility.

The Assembly Team Lead is responsible for overseeing all assembly functionality, including inventory, out of the respective Warehouse. The role is also accountable for implementing the assembly plan as scheduled, with all team members following the team lead’s direction.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Continuously monitors employee performance while identifying areas of improvement
- Assessing employee performance and providing feedback to the Operations Manager
- Ensuring team members meet deadlines for key projects and tasks
- Addressing any concerns or issues identified by team members
- Quality control of every product produced per shift
- Safety protocols for machine operation and other related equipment
- Handling warehouse openings, closures, and security alarms
- Coordinating the Quality Assurance functions required within Assembly including corrective action implementation
- Ability to instill positivity and motivation within a team
- Inventory count of all products used per shift, and month end inventory counts
- Order warehouse supplies as needed
- Hold Safety Meetings and Toolbox Talks with team members
**Education and Experience**
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Warehouse Occupational Health and Safety knowledge an asset
- Reacher, Straddle Stacker or forklift and/or walkie experience is an asset
**Key Skills and Competencies**

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-paced work environment including prioritizing work to meet multiple deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills: the ability to articulate clear direction and influence others
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Innovatively Savvy capable of using RF scanners and experienced in WMS
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office and business communications platforms such as Slack
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to problem solve and develop effective solutions
- Demonstrated ethical and professional behaviour, including confidentiality
- Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with eagerness to learn and personal drive
