Electronics Assembly Technician

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly of electronic components, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery of our products.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Component Assembly**:
- Solder electronic modules and components onto fabricated PCBs.
- Assemble various components such as PCBs, enclosures, batteries, and other hardware, following established procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and care of sensitive components to maintain quality and avoid damage.
**Quality Control**:
- Conduct thorough quality checks at each stage of the assembly process to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Identify and address defects, inconsistencies, or issues, and report them to supervisors or the quality control team.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any quality concerns and implement corrective actions when needed.
**Workstation Maintenance**:
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and maintained.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Accurately document assembly activities, including component tracking, inventory management, and quality control data.
- Provide regular reports on productivity, quality, and any issues encountered during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with the production supervisor or team lead to suggest process improvements for greater efficiency.
**Collaboration and Communication**:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality control, to ensure smooth production workflow.
- Communicate concerns, challenges, or recommendations related to the assembly process to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
**Must-Have Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electronics or manufacturing are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in component assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong manual dexterity with the ability to use hand tools and soldering equipment with precision.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly techniques.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of quality control processes with the ability to identify defects.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
- Familiarity with workstation maintenance and basic troubleshooting of assembly equipment.
**Good-to-Have Qualifications**:
- Experience uploading firmware to hardware and tweaking parameters.
- Familiarity with 3D printers, including loading/unloading filaments, cleaning the nozzle, and monitoring the printing process.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
