**Our Family Development program in the Wetaskiwin area is seeking a**:
**Casual Human Services Workers**

**Serving clients throughout Leduc, Camrose, Wetaskiwin, Ponoka & other rural communities.**

The **Family Development** Program provides caring and professional family support to help develop positive family relationships by teaching parenting, living, communication and behavior management skills. This program helps children, youth and parents struggling with a variety of issues. Clients are referred to this program from their local Children Services office.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Supervise Visits between children and biological family.
- Youth Work and Engagement including connection with Natural Supports
- Connect Families with community supports.
- Support Cultural Engagement and Learning

**Minimum Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in the field of Human _Services (consideration will be given to those with partially completed education)_
- Proof of Membership in Professional Association _(when applicable)_
- Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous Culture
- Knowledge of parent/child relationships and family dynamics
- Can model appropriate parenting skills.
- Standard First Aid - Level C CPR, Suicide Intervention Training and De-Escalation Training (Internal Trainings available)
- Intervention Record Check and Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector
- Class 5 Divers License, Clean Drivers Abstract and reliable vehicle for client transportation required.
- Knowledge of the Child, Youth, Family Enhancement Act considered an asset.

**Wage Range**: $22.71/hr. - $28.65/hr. - Wage to be negotiated based on education and experience. Plus Travel Reimbursement at $0.505/KM.

**Hours of work**:Up to 40 Hours.Flexible schedule required, includes evenings and weekends.
