This position will see you utilizing your Human Resources training and experience in mentoring and coaching the workforce at WDACS. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position has opportunity to be instrumental in the development of our Human Resources Plan with other members of the Senior Management Team.

Specifically, your expertise will encompass recruitment, performance management, benefits and salary administration, HR training and orientation, and maintaining an employee database.

As a professional HR resource, effective communication skills in the areas of interviewing, coaching and conflict resolution will be important, as this position will aid supervisors and managers in effectively dealing with HR matters.

Technological skills with Office 365, Word, Excel are required. As this position may have opportunity to work remotely, efficient time management and organization of priorities will be important.

The incumbent will require a post-secondary diploma in Human Resources Management or related studies from a recognized institution with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Preference will be given to those with an Undergraduate Degree in HR Management, or who have obtained their Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR) designation.

Other conditions of employment will include a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check, a valid driver’s licence and carrying $2,000,000 of vehicle liability insurance.
