This full-time **in-person** position is based out of our head office in **Edmonton, AB.**

**What You’ll Do**:
As an integral part of our accounting and finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting and finance team by performing various accounting tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform full-cycle accounts payable functions
- Receive, sort and verify various accounting documents
- Obtain appropriate approvals and process payment documents in accounting system
- Prepare vendor payments by cheque, EFT and wire, ensuring accuracy
- Perform full-cycle accounts receivable functions
- Process customer orders and invoice customers accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure all payments are properly accounted for and reconcile receivable accounts and outstanding balances
- Other duties, including monitoring and organizing import documents and communicating with vendors

**What You Bring**:

- **Education**: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
- **Experience**: 2+ years in a similar accounts payable/receivable position
- **Tech-Savvy**: Great data entry skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior experience in Accpac is preferred.
- **Meticulousness**: Keen attention to detail
- **Organization**: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

- Motivated**: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and also independently.
- **Ready to Learn**: Fearlessness when seizing opportunities and embracing feedback and learning experiences
