**LOCATION**: AEI Munsee Delaware Nation Satellite Office

Full Time Position with Benefits

**Salary Range: $48,176 to $54,599**

The **Office Assistant **is responsible for providing administrative support to the Campus Manager, Program Development Coordinator and Promotion and Recruitment Coordinator/Officer with the day-to-day operations of the Anishinabek Educational Institute. The Office Assistant provides efficient and effective planning and preparation of various management led meetings and functions, as well as assisting with the development of internal and external communications. The Office Assistant supports the Campus Manager through a variety of tasks related to organizational operations and communications, with a high degree of quality, professionalism and judgement.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration or Office Management; AND
- Two years’ experience in an administration/office field preferably in a post-secondary field; OR
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated, relevant work experience, skills and training;
- Working knowledge of postsecondary institute administrative processes is considered an asset;
- Experience working in an Indigenous Institute is an asset;
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office; and
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and be insurable.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supporting the Campus Manager in their day to day duties;
- Responsible for preparing, drafting, reviewing and distributing various office documents including internal/external memos, expense claims, cheque requisitions, purchase order requisitions, contracts, instructor time sheets and reports received from Campus Manager;
- Assisting with the coordination of the AEI Alumni Association between AEI Campuses;
- Coordinating and overseeing all arrangements for AEI management and site staff meetings;
- Overseeing the invigilation and completion of Student Services and Graduate/Exit Surveys;
- Assisting with the preparation of workshop/meeting kits, arranging and coordinating meeting facilities and travel as directed;
- Responsible for responding to general program inquiries to ensure appropriate and timely follow up;
- Maintaining knowledge of current office policies; and
- Other duties as assigned.
