Our primary office is in Williams Lake, offering CCRR services throughout School District 27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) and School District 49 (Central Coast).
The Liaison is part of a dynamic team, providing services in office, in community, outlying communities and virtually. The primary role of this position is to build strong relations in communities by ensuring programs, services and support are available to all persons, regardless of where they reside.
Major **roles and responsibilities** include:
1. Provide families with up-to-date listings of registered and licensed child care facilities as well as education on how to choose quality child care.
3. Assist in development and execution of family events that connect families to community, promoting and supporting child development.
4. Community outreach and partnership (attend community meetings, events, playgroups, etc.) to support families and child development and wellness.
5. Provide professional development and training to families and professionals that align with Early Learning Frameworks and child development.
6. Assist child care providers with recruitment, startup, training, resources as well as information related to funding programs offered by the Province.
**Qualifications**:
1. Early Childhood Education certificate or equivalent training and experience.
2. Experience working with children (6 years and under) and families.
3. Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Publisher) to produce posters, flyers, and other related materials.
4. Familiar using social media platforms ex. Facebook.
5. Team player, organized and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
6. Ability to lead/present training workshops.
7. Ability to work remotely from home.
8. Valid, Class 5 BC Driver’s License.

**Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
