**Position Overview**:
As a Media Relations Strategist, you will lead digital PR initiatives, crafting compelling content and establishing relationships with key media players. Your strategic insights and storytelling using data will shape our narrative and enhance our market presence. As a team leader, you'll mentor specialists and promote collaboration. Ongoing training opportunities will further your growth and the department's success.
- The starting salary for this position is $50,000

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Coordination & Project Management**:

- Collaborate with clients to align on PR goals and communicate regularly.
- Respond promptly to client queries, ensuring smooth campaign management.
- Develop and manage editorial roadmaps.
- Maintain project dashboards with real-time updates and data-driven insights.

**Media Relations & Content Distribution**:

- Oversee press releases from drafting to distribution.
- Coordinate media interviews, and prepare briefing materials.
- Maintain and expand media contact databases, enhancing outreach.

**Digital PR & Content Strategy**:

- Lead proactive and reactive PR campaigns.
- Manage outreach platforms and optimize media engagement.
- Write guest blogs for clients, ensuring alignment with the outlet’s voice.
- Use newsjacking and trending topics to boost coverage.

**Reporting & Analytics**:

- Generate monthly reports and analyze campaign performance.
- Use data to create compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders.

**Professional Development & Networking**:

- Embody company values, participate in strategy meetings, and represent the company at media events.
- Engage in continuous learning and training.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in media relations or digital PR.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent copywriting abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with PR tools such as Agility PR, Qwoted, and Ahrefs.
