Loomis International (CA) Inc. is the spearheading office representing Canada on a national scale. Our office is in a Small Business format located in Mississauga, close to Pearson Airport, and is ready for expansion.

Reporting to the Head of Loomis International, Canada, the Branch Manager is responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company’s overall operations. They oversee several elements in a business, including hiring staff, operating budgets and offering and implementing promotional strategies.

To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Manage people and establishing workplace policies and processes.
- Oversee day-to-day operations.
- Design strategy and set goals for growth.
- Maintain and control budgets while managing expenses.
- Ensure employees are motivated and productive
- Formulate overall strategy

**For a more granular insight to the position**:

- Establish cooperative relationships with municipal, provincial, and federal law enforcement agencies throughout the region.
- Maintain company compliance with regulatory statutes involving Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR), Occupational Health and Safety, and CEPA.
- Oversee safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities through training, monitoring, and enforcement of policies and procedures.
- Train, develop, and evaluate performance of operations supervisors.
- Enforcement of Risk and Compliance procedures and policies.
- Evaluate Employee Counseling Records (ECR).
- Respond to customer inquiries and/or complaints.
- Liaise and coordinate with all Loomis International affiliates.
- Manage contracts and relationships with vendors.
- Oversee scheduling.
- Oversight of maintenance of vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment. See that preventive maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Operation Management experience is a must.
- Armoured car or transportation experience is helpful.
- Post-Secondary Education in Business Management is preferred.
- Overall knowledge of warehousing basics, importing and exporting requirements, cross-docking and airport cargo knowledge is an asset.
