**Job Overview**:
We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a focus on Recruiting and Safety. This individual will play a critical role in managing various projects, coordinating recruitment efforts, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees. This position will report directly to the owner and work closely with the administration manager and site team.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Coordinating and managing projects from inception to completion.

2. Assisting in the recruitment process, including job postings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.

3. Collecting, filing, maintaining and submitting safety certificates and responsible for ensuring they meet client requirements.

4. Conducting regular safety audits, identifying potential hazards, and recommending improvements.

5. Training staff on safety policies and practices.

6. Compiling, organizing and submitting all bookkeeping receipts etc. to accountant.

7. Coordinating and managing communication between different teams.

8. Reporting project progress and any potential setbacks to stakeholders.

9. Tracking time off requests, ensuring those spaces are filled if required by the client.

**Qualifications**:
1. A Red Seal Endorsement (RSE) in a relevant trade.

2. Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field or relevant experience.

3. At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a setting that requires recruitment and safety responsibilities.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.

6. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs and an ability to navigate time tracking and HR software.

8. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

**Required Skills**:
1. Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada.

2. Self-motivated, and self-directed.

3. High organizational skills and excellent customer service.

4. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

5. Ability to read and organize technical specifications, drawings, contracts, and other documents.

6. Strong ability to multi-task and problem-solving skills.

7. Attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, project teams and sub-trades.

9. Strong knowledge of construction specifications, methods and procedures.

10. Working knowledge of scheduling, estimating and subcontracts.
