Responsible for creating and maintaining the production schedule, in consultation with Operations, to ensure that customer-requested dates are met while optimizing the utilization of company resources; the Scheduler plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

**Here are some of the different activities you’ll be asked to do**:

- Develop the production schedule, while considering component availability, inventory levels, operational resourcing, and customer-requested dates, in order to meet our customer and business unit requirements
- Support both Demand and Supply Planning initiatives
- Ensure the organization’s planning practices, policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure the deliverables of the schedule and accurately address the needs of the business
- Work with internal and external partners to optimize planning patterns and create opportunities for improved performance of the business and ensure schedule accuracy
- Coordinate, track, and report required metrics/KPIs
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend solutions and support/lead the implementation in a timely manner
- Utilize existing ERP platform including related processes; including but not limited to, issuance of Purchase Orders and ERP system schedule maintenance

**If you’ve got**:

- A post-secondary education, with emphasis in an STEM-related field
- 3 years’ progressive experience as a Scheduler in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing
environment
- Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office software platforms (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Successful completion of SCMP designation (an asset)
- Current membership in the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada (an asset)
- Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) (an asset)
