Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist lawyer in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Prepare and draft correspondence and memos
- Assist with case management and scheduling
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather information
- Utilize /Manage or similar document management software to organize and retrieve files
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of legal documents
- Ability to conduct interviews with clients and witnesses effectively
- Familiarity with Manage or similar document management software
- Administrative experience in a legal setting is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis or other legal research tools is preferred
- Ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently

**Salary**: $20.00-$31.67 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
