Job Summary:
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the Director of Vendor Management with end-to-end Vendor Management processes.

As a Business Analyst supporting the Vendor Management Analyst team, you will be helping in shaping the Digital & Payments Vendor Management Program related to Central 1’s 3rd party vendor relationships.

What you'll be doing:
1- Vendor Analytics and Reporting (80%)
- Vendor Performance Management_
- Assessing vendor contracts for commercial terms and conditions to identify performance obligations and commitments
- Initiating vendor performance reviews by requesting information from the business unit and vendor
- Consolidating and analyzing vendor performance data received from the business unit and vendor
- Supporting the development of vendor business review meeting collateral
- Capturing vendor business review meeting output and distributing to all internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the development of vendor continuous improvement plans
- Vendor Risk Management_
- Supporting the Director of Vendor Management and internal stakeholders with vendor segmentation assessments based on spend, risk and business materiality
- Compiles and manages vendor risk profiles and helps identify any risk mitigation strategies in accordance with Central 1 guidelines and policies
- Responsible for the annual assessment and reporting of changes to vendor profiles
- Vendor Relationship Management_
- Aggregates internal and external vendor information to develop vendor governance and onboarding requirements
- Secondary point of contact for liaising with vendors to prepare content for the business reviews including receipt and distribution of vendor data
- Reporting and Analytics_
- Creating dashboards and reports to share with executives and stakeholders
- Gathering of data (i.e., monthly contractual service level data, spend data, etc.) to update dashboards and reports
- Perform routine analysis of data to understand trends and observations
- Support the Director Vendor Management with presenting reports and analytical work as needed

2- Procurement Operations (20%)
- Create requisitions into Central 1’s finance tool
- Create purchase orders within Central 1’s finance tool
- Receiving of goods & services into Central 1’s finance tool
- Consulting with accounts payable for payments of received Invoices

What you'll have:

- 5+ years of experience in a Vendor/vendor management role
- Experience working with database and data analytical tools, such as SQL, VBA, Power Query
- Demonstrated experience working with ERP and Source to Pay Technologies like Workday, Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, etc.
- Demonstrated experience segmenting (analyzing and reporting) Vendor performance
- Experience working with visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI
- Solid understanding of Vendor/vendor management programs
- Excellent communication skills and time-management
- Advanced level of understanding of Microsoft Office Tools (e.g., Excel, Project Access)
- Exceptional analytical skills to gather relevant information, identify key issues, critically compare information, develop conclusions, and develop well-supported recommendations
- Convey ideas, information and materials to individuals and groups
- Experience working for a Financial Services organization
