Position: Program Facilitator

Employment Type: Contract

Work Schedule: 35 hrs/week from May until September

Positions Available: 2

Pay Range: $20/hr

**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Program Facilitator will assist the Program Facilitators in running ConnectLinc’s youth camp program, which is a youth program for ages 12-16, helping to teach and prepare youth for entering the workforce.

Participants will gain work-readiness skills, earn certifications, attend workshops, and learn from the community

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Designs, develops and plans programming to be implemented successfully during the program;
- Provides comprehensive planning, project coordination and support for the delivery of training and development programs, facilitator support, the clients, and the team;
- Assists with arranging bookings for field trips, guest speakers, etc.;
- Leads and implements programs for youth age 12-16;
- Provides high-quality educational and recreational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for participants;
- Assists in supervising participants to ensure their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well being;
- Maintains a schedule for program participants;
- Organizes and leads various large and small group activities, sometimes on the fly;
- Ensures the cleanliness of the site;
- Assists in maintaining accurate program records, including incident reports, and daily attendance;
- Knows and understands emergency procedures associated with the program;
- Records and tracks participants dietary restrictions/allergies and ensures all meals/snacks are distributed to them;
- Mediates any participant conflicts or disputes;
- Knows, enforces, and follows all safety guidelines associated with the program, including knowing the whereabouts of your participants at all times.

**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS/ENVIRONMENT**:

- Reports to supervisor and/or coordinator of programs;
- Remote and in-person work during May and June, required to come into the office every day for programming from July 3, 2023 until August 25, 2023.

**WHAT IS CONNECTLINC?**

When preparing youth for the workforce, the ConnectLinc program offers one of Canada's best skills readiness programs. It is a place where youth can learn, achieve, become certified all while playing and having fun Powered by the Town of Lincoln and operated by Civiconnect, ConnectLinc is running a

March Break program in Beamsville, Ontario, for youth between 14 - 16 years old. Participants develop a portfolio of certifications, access to industry guest speakers and experts, and relevant skills needed for today's workforce.
