**Parlee McLaws LLP** is a well-established, mid-size, Alberta law firm with over 135 years of experience. We are seeking an experienced **Trust Accounting Clerk **to join our accounting Team.

This role is located at our **Edmonton **office and requires in-office attendance.

**Position Overview**:
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with 1-hour break and this position is primarily office-based. You will report to the Director of Finance and your day-to-day will include a multitude of tasks such as:

- Data entry of trust/firm cheques as well as processing, verification, and reconciliation
- Posting direct deposit and e-transfers, manual deposits
- Processing cheques and credit card payments
- Provide overall accounting and clerical support to the accounting department, including filing and scanning of documents
- Provide back-up to other support staff as required

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of previous related data entry and accounting support experience (preferably in a professional services environment); accounting diploma or certification is an asset
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Knowledge of automated accounting software is required; 3E Enterprise experience is an asset
- Experience in gathering data and compiling information
- Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Worldox software is an asset
- Self-starter with ability to organize, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills
- Proven ability to work digitally with other locations
- Must read, speak, and write English fluently
