**Position Description**:
The **Professor, in the School of Computer Technology**, is responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective, learning-centred environment for students through the design and delivery of curriculum within the School of Computer Technology at George Brown as well as the development of new curriculum in response to industry trends, technology and research. The professor will teach courses to students in all years at the diploma and postgraduate certificate level, in **Computer Programming and Analysis, Game Programming and AI Solution Development** programs in addition to other degrees, diplomas and certificate level courses when required.

**Education / Certification / Designation**:

- Ph.D. in Computer Science.

**Experience**:

- Ten (5) full-time years of industry-relevant experience in software development, software design, database development, and/or full-stack development.
- Knowledge and experience with the latest software development methodologies and tools is required.
- A history of scholarship and peer-reviewed publications will be an asset.
- Prior post-secondary teaching training and experience in adult instruction techniques, and curriculum design experience is required and will be applied in various teaching and learning settings.

**Interview process will consist of a mock teaching experience and, in some cases, a practical skills component.**
