**About the Position** We are seeking an experienced field technician to provide on-site service to our clients in the greater Vancouver area. As a field technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients’ technology runs smoothly. Here’s what the role entails:

- **On-Site Support**: You’ll be dispatched by our central service desk to work directly at our clients’ offices. Your responsibilities will include reactive support, installing new equipment, and performing proactive service tasks.
- **Remote Work**: Between on-site visits, you’ll handle help desk support tickets from your home office.
- **Client Interaction**: You’ll commute to client sites in and around the greater Vancouver area, ensuring timely and professional service.

**Responsibilities** As a field technician, you’ll be responsible for

**On-Site Service**:

- Drive to clients’ sites promptly and perform assigned work.
- Install new PCs and equipment.
- Provide impeccable customer service during on-site visits.

**Documentation and Communication**:

- Maintain precise, evidence-based documentation of all support activities.
- Collaborate with team members to solve incidents.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

**Proactive Support**:

- Perform proactive service tasks and onboard new clients.
- Follow standardized procedures and create new ones when necessary.

**Work Environment**:

- Work on-site at clients’ places of work and from our White Rock office (once available).
- Initially work from home until our physical office is ready.

**Hours and Availability**:

- Regular hours: 8 am - 5 pm PST, Monday to Friday.
- Occasional weekend and after-hours support may be required.

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent, clear spoken and written English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both face-to-face and in written communication.
- Resourcefulness in problem-solving.
- 3+ years of experience in a helpdesk or multi-person IT team.
- 2+ years of on-site/field support experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server,
- Azure Active Directory,
- Network troubleshooting,
- Microsoft Office Suite troubleshooting.
