As the Branch Operations Manager you are responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of our Richmond Branch, ensuring our team best serves our customers while representing the company in the local region.

You guarantee the continuity of the company’s standards and policies and efficient store operations and team leadership. Your effort ensures our customers are delighted by their experiences in-store and over the phone while coordinating, monitoring, and advising the team to deliver consistent customer service results. You are enthusiastic to “lead-by example” helping whenever and wherever is needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and effectively. In your role as Branch Operations Manager, your focus will be to lead and inspire your team to provide the best possible experience for all our customers while achieving our performance objectives.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Corporate Objectives**:

- Work with staff and fellow Management to grow Industrial Plastics' success in the Richmond Branch’s territory.
- Promote a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork to achieve store and company goals.
- Comply with store operational processes and standards for wholesale, e-commerce and walk-in sales.
- Be responsible for achieving budgeted sales, margin, and store profitability goals.
- Work closely with our business solutions team to ensure “the voice of the customer” is heard in all areas of store operations and support the sales growth plan for the store.

**Store & Merchandizing**:

- Implement and Oversee product and visual merchandizing programs to drive sales and create a positive customer experience.
- Ensure that all customers are served in a timely manner, with courtesy and respect. All customers are acknowledged when they enter the store, and we aim for 5-star reviews from all customers.
- Upkeep and cleanliness of the store and warehouse facility, including washrooms and office stocked with supplies. Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
- Ensure that store safety protocols are followed, 1st aid kits are stocked and all PPE is being used at all appropriate times.

**Staff**:

- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to keep them motivated and on-task.
- Inspire your team to remain positive with customers and with each other.
- Develop a staffing schedule and ensure the store is properly staffed during business hours to meet the volume and needs of our customers.
- Organize shop production schedule
- Track and report staff schedules and payroll hours.
- Monitor and document team members' individual work performance and deliver timely feedback (positive and constructive) as per our development programs.
- Learn new product lines and teach the staff, so they are comfortable and knowledgeable about selling the products.
- Work with team members and management to regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop and implement strategies at a store level to grow sales and minimize expenses.

**Administration**:
Comprehensively and completely fill out all required administrative documentation and reporting and submit in a timely fashion.

Administer the following operational responsibilities for the store, including:

- Sales Invoicing, Receiving Shipments, Purchase Orders, Weigh-bill processing, Credit Card Receipts, Daily POS Transaction detail & summary, Bank Deposits, Cash-out Receipts, Cash Float, Expense Receipts, ROA Payment Processing
- Coordinate and assign shipping and receiving responsibilities for the store including proper packaging, method, and labeling. Shipments containing “Dangerous Goods” must comply with those regulations and all staff must be trained and certified to ship dangerous goods.
- Coordinate with Warehouse staff to ensure machinery is maintained and kept in clean and safe condition.
- Work with the Regional Operations Manager to develop a written Operations Plan for the store’s objectives and procedures.

**Stock & Inventory**:

- Monitor stock levels and conduct replenishment activities to ensure correct items are in stock at appropriate cost.
- Monthly Inventory count and reporting aged and unsalable materials for write-off.
- Ensure all price changes are implemented in a timely manner and shelf-tags are updated to reflect price changes.
- Ensure timing and level of stock on seasonal items, including clearance of over-stock at the end of the season.
- Actively collaborate with all other departments and locations to achieve the company’s goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
