**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Manages User ID via related tools
- Performs security vulnerabilities checks & security health checks; works with System Admin to resolve any issues
- Troubleshoots OS issues, testing and deploying from the lower environment to production
- Fixes any other security compliance issue on OS
- Works on secure access to the data center for the vendors
- Installs / connects hardware, and manages hardware inventory within the data centre.
- Communicates risks, impacts, and mitigation plans quickly, calmly, and effectively
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as Business Analyst, Administrators, Architects, Developers, and Testers
- Shares knowledge and skills with other team members

**NOTE**: This role is a 10 month internship with Kyndryl Canada. Applicants must be based in the GTA and be willing / available to go into the office at 245 Consumers Road, North York and 3500 Steeles Ave East, Markham
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Ability to obtain government security clearance
- Be available to go into the office 2 times per week going on site Data Center at North York or Markham
- 2+ years experience in Linux/Unix/Windows
- Proficiency with at least one object-oriented programming language (such as Java, C++, C#) and Python
- Exposure to scripting tools such as JavaScript, Perl, Bash, Powershell, or VB script, and Rexx
- Knowledge of the ITIL Service Lifecycle in ITSM disciplines, including the Change Management, Release Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- General networking knowledge, routing, VPN, firewalls, IT security, VMWare, Windows System, Domain Controller, DNS Servers, DHCP Servers, and File Server
- Critical thinker and passionate pursuer of excellence in all work deliverables
- Soft skills that include strong written and oral communication, time management, self-direction, and organization'
