We are looking for a Manager, Stores Shipping and Receiving to support our Real Property Planning and Management Branch. The Manager would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

The Manager, Stores Shipping and Receiving supervises a team of approximately 9 persons that would comprise of storesperson, shipper/receivers who delivery stores, shipping and receiving services to the National Capital Region (NCR) in addition to planning, managing, and leading multiple satellite store and shipping and receiving locations that are comprised of store staff in the NCR and other regions.

This role also represents the interests of the NRC in all matters related to the procurement and management of consumable inventories and shipping & receiving services for the stores by conducting strategic analysis and providing expert advice in stores management, shipping & receiving, and inventory management including the planning, coordination, administration reporting and delivery of services. Stores and shipping & receiving services are provided for all NRC Research Centers, Branches and IRAP (CBIs) and represents the organization for all stores, store procurement, and shipping & receiving with clients for warehousing and or inventory control matters.

**Education**:
College Diploma in Business Management, Materials Management or a related field.

An equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar position may be considered.

**The following might be considered as an asset**:

- Purchasing Management courses or certifications.

**Experience**:

- Significant experience providing advice or/and recommendations to Senior Management.
- Significant experience in warehouse services and purchasing.
- Significant experience maintaining inventory in an automated inventory control system.
- Significant experience supervising warehouse operations, resources and budget.
- Significant experience delivering or managing the provisions of procurement, and materiel management services.

**ASSETS**:

- Experience working in warehouse services and purchasing in the federal gouvernment.
- Experience working with SAP-MM

Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with the NRC's directives.

**Compensation**:
From $69,273 to $79,106 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent who meets the language requirements will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
