**Experienced Small Engine Technician**

**Position Overview**:
This role is responsible for preparing all pre-delivery inspections for all small equipment and small machines, including snow plows and salters in the Winter season. The Small Engine Technician interacts with customers regularly, providing them with new equipment demonstrations and providing a superior customer experience. This position requires the ability to work occasional Saturdays.

**Responsibilities - What you’ll be doing**
- Repairing small engine equipment including but not limited to trimmers, lawn mowers, chainsaws, blowers etc.
- Open, assemble and test all new small equipment
- Provide professional and interactive new equipment customer demonstrations, including providing operation and basic maintenance procedures for hand-held to small engine equipment.
- Build and test all snowplows and salters in the winter
- Carry out PDI quality control for all small engine equipment including model and serial number documentation
- Attend company training sessions as requested

**Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications - What you need to bring**
- High School diploma
- **Minimum 2 years' experience repairing and servicing small engine equipment in a service dept**:

- Mechanical aptitude
- Passion to deliver customer service excellence
- Superior verbal communication skills
- A professional and friendly attitude and appearance
- Completion of Small Engine Mechanic program is an asset
