The Data Analyst is responsible for designing data and the modelling process to create algorithms and predictive models to perform custom analyses based on business requirements. The role holder will have a strong understanding and knowledge to turn raw data into information and insight, which can be used to make business decisions.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and overlook a team of data analysts.
- Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business and team requirements.
- Utilizing automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources and data validation.
- Choose one or more potential models and algorithms to create output data points /models
- Developing statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction.
- Supporting in making business decisions through data analysis
- Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
- Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
**Education and Experience**
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Physics or related field.
- Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field (minimum 5-6 years).
- Strong Experience with R3 /SQL/Python/Power BI / Excel and Data Visualization tools (Tableau) is an asset
- Team lead experience of 2-3 years is an asset
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerBI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts with clarity to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with various stakeholders to assess potential risks.
- Ability to ask the right questions to begin the discovery process.
- Basic understanding of business metrics and ability to connect them to financials.
- Ability to work with large sets of data and automate the output.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations.
