Job description

A second-generation family business was founded in 1982. Servicing London and surrounding area with retractable awning systems, motorized screens and other exterior shade products.
Lead installers will be involved in the installation as well as service/repair of these awning systems. You will find great variety in the installations we perform while learning challenging new techniques. Training on installations is provided.
Join our team of professionals, providing the highest quality installations and service has gained our company the consumer’s choice award five years running. Quality workmanship is the cornerstone of our business.

If you've worked in any of the following fields your experience will be an asset:
Construction
Framing
Mechanical
Renovations
Door and window installation
Carpentry

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- **High quality of work, and attention to detail**:

- Reading text, reading simple blueprints, oral communication, working with others and problem-solving
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Professional, presentable and comfortable with customer service
- Safe uses of hand and electric power tools
- Basic knowledge of residential framing and home construction is required
- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial
- Lift as much as 90lbs
- Comfortable with driving a full-size van coupled to a 16’ utility trailer
- Comfortable on ladders, mostly 6’ step ladders are used

**Requirements**:

- Full ‘G’ Driver’s license (Drivers abstract required following the interview process)
- Personal transportation to our shop, company vehicle will be supplied when travelling to clients homes
- Available to work most Saturdays in the months of May, June and July
- Criminal background check following the interview process

**Additional information**:

- Regular work shift is 8-9 hours, you must be flexible to work longer shifts as needed
