_**The Basic Gist**:_

Hi, my name is The Mule. I love chef-inspired tacos, cult classics, tequila drinks, GOOD tunes, vegetarians, bourbon, graffiti, vegans, mood lighting, queso & YOU.

I should also mention I'm 100% gluten free. And I'm 100% serious about that. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon
- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

We are Cambridge's favorite lunch spot, regular late-night haunt, and go-to destination for a great bite & drink. Our tacos range from classic to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this.

We offer a variety of fare that is sure to satisfy either the most dedicated carnivore or delight your vegetarian and/or vegan side.

The Other Bird is a hospitality family that includes _The Mule_ and _Rapscallion & Co. _(Hamilton, ON), _Burro _(Burlington, ON), _The Mule_ and _Hunter & Co. _(London, ON), _The Mule _(Port Dover, ON), and _The Mule_ (Cambridge, ON).

We are a young, growing and fun-loving company that believes in providing amazing culinary and service experiences.

**The Job**:
**This position is seasonal**
- Provide personable and efficient service to ensure guest needs are met at all times.
- Be confident in guiding guests in making the best decisions on what to order, and be knowledgeable of all current menu selections & specials.
- Take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, productivity and a positive attitude within the working environment.
- Report any concerns to The Mule's Management Team.
- Complete all side duties/opening duties/closing duties as assigned.
- At the end of all shifts, complete cashouts accurately, and submit for approval.
- Attend any training or meetings as and when required by The Mule’s Management Team, or the Other Bird Operations Team.
- Previous experience with Silverware POS is an asset.
- **Ideally, You Have Experience / Education**:_
- 2+ years of serving experience in a restaurant environment is required.
- Availability to work late nights (up to 2AM), weekends, and holidays is required.
- Smart Serve certification is required.
