Chernoff Thompson Architects is an established architecture firm, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, that focuses on providing top-level service to Clients across North America. We provide detailed design responses to technology-focused clients, biotech private companies, all levels of government, and advanced educational institutions. Our open-office layout encourages vibrant dialogue among all team members and promotes the exchange of design ideas and shared technical support in a collaborative and encouraging culture. Our studio staff are of international origins, speak 15 languages, and bring a diverse architectural and technical background to our firm.

The Marketing and Administrative Support team at Chernoff Thompson Architects is seeking a new member to assist with the acquisition of new business and support the production and delivery of marketing materials. This role is responsible for organizing and generating responses to RFPs and EOIs, and preparing presentations, project portfolios, and supporting materials for various opportunities. This includes copywriting, document design, coordinating with multiple team members, and data management. _Note that this is not an Architectural Design position._

Areas of responsibility:

- Proposal Responses - working with other marketing team members to prepare high-quality detailed proposal responses for timely submission, primarily using Adobe InDesign. Note that these can vary in length from a couple of pages to several hundred pages, and require excellent written communication skills, as well as graphic design skills and attention to detail.
- Prospects - searching for, identifying, and sharing upcoming prospects and pursuits.
- General Marketing - working with other marketing team members to prepare/update marketing collateral and maintaining information in our marketing database.
- Support content creation and management for online initiatives.

You will bring the following skills and experience:

- Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing communications, copywriting, or another written communication-heavy role. Proficiency in writing and conversing in English is required.
- Marketing (social media, etc.) and graphic design experience is an asset.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (with an emphasis on InDesign and Photoshop experience) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in prioritizing, multi-tasking, and meeting strict deadlines in high-pressure environments.
- An ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- An ability to work self-directed and as part of a team.
