Purpose of Role: The site Buyer is accountable for multiple responsibilities including the ability to plan and forecast raw materials and finished goods, monitor inventory, data analytics and maintain a strong supply base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive assistance in purchasing activities to support the operations and functions of the site.- Oversee the management of the supply base by cultivating strong relationships and vigilantly monitoring the performance of key and critical suppliers.- Maintain a persistent commitment to actively seek out and meticulously document opportunities for reducing costs within the scope of a buyer role.- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and in-depth knowledge and experience gained through a minimum of 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Experienced user of Oracle ERP preferred, Microsoft Office required.- Experience in the areas of purchasing / sourcing / supplier management, data & analytics, reporting / KPIs, and/or project management are highly preferred (but not all are required).- Exhibits proficiency in resolving diverse and intricate problems, showcasing sound judgment in choosing appropriate methodologies and approaches to reach solutions. Applies a fresh viewpoint within the framework of existing policies and practices.-
- Ability to travel within North America as required.- CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
