People & Culture Coordinator (Summer Co-op)

Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, People & Culture Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the company's Toronto headquarters with a focus on improving the overall Greentank organization, administration, and culture.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with full cycle recruitment
- Take the lead on all company event planning, scheduling, and day of coordination
- Assist with select projects as assigned by the Manager, People & Culture
- Project manage office space construction and changes i.e. new desk setup, laboratory installations, etc.
- Assist with training and development, scheduling, and coordination
- Act as first point of contact for visitors to the Greentank office and maintain visitors log
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve overall office happiness & engagement
- Benefit administration and employee support
- Receive and distribute all general inquiries & communication to appropriate stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders on behalf of the company
- Ensure that general office supplies, snacks, beverages, etc. are well stocked
- Coordinate with and ensure the satisfactory performance of all third party office services (i.e. cleaning, security, maintenance etc.)
- Manage relations with property owners/management
- Responsible for coordinating needed Health & Safety procedures
- General Administrative support such as: taking meeting notes
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- University/ college degree/ diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Two to three years in a professional environment
- Highly organized and able to multitask
- Self-driven and proactive nature
- Experience in process creation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for service and finding joy in the success of others
